Winnipeg Saracens RFC

Est. 1968

The Winnipeg Saracens Rugby Football Club competes in the Manitoba Rugby Union, under the laws of Rugby Canada and the International Rugby Board. Currently the club consists of a Men's program a Women's program an old boys network, friends and family. The Saracens are also very involved with the success of High School Rugby in Manitoba, from coaching, reffing, volunteering and organizing. The Saracens continue to grow the club and rugby in Manitoba through these programs.

The Saracens RFC practices at RB Russel High School, and makes it playing home at Maple Grove Rugby Park, you'll find us in the well know Blue and Gold. Maple Grove is one of the finest rugby facilities in Canada featuring five full pitches, change rooms and a full service bar and clubhouse.

The Saracens are not only successful on the field they are successful with the traditional social side that rugby is known for. The Men and Women continue to organize tours, and you will almost always find a Saracen at "Church".

Boogies Diner and Sports Bar, the proud major sponsor and partner of the Saracens has been long known as "Church" to the club. Our place to pray to the rugby gods over a pint and some pizza.

So either on the pitch, on tour, in clubhouse, at "Church" or anywhere else in the world it's always "FOR THE BLUE AND GOLD"
